#Opera outlook avast certificate error update#
PS/ while I'm here: the way opera updates is rather annoying because it keeps making new folders and the location of opera keeps changing, so things like Family Safety (and also spybot) lose track of it and it keeps getting blocked after each update until I re-allow it). Windows 8 Start Screen - Right Click - Open file locationMaybe the easiest way to go, would be to do a search for Outlook in the Start Menu, right click on it and from the context menu that pops up choose: Open File Location. - Choose: Place all certificates into the following store. I'm not really sure about how certificates work though). (I read somewhere that Family Safety has to use it's own certificates to get around HTTPS encryption, and that those are trusted by default in IE, but not in chrome/firefox. It'd be really useful if it could be fixed though! I have irate kids! I don't know if MS have changed something in how Family Safety works, or if Opera or Chrome have changed something. I haven't changed any settings, and it worked fine until about a week ago. But I don't want to turn it off because it's on my kid's account. It asks if I want to continue using this server, and if I click YES, I can continue on and send/receive email. If I turn off Family Safety then it works ok. Every time I open Outlook, I get a pop up warning about an incorrect security certificate for my webhosting company, through which I get most of my email ( Email address is removed for privacy ). I've been using Opera and Microsoft Family safety on my kid's account without problems, but suddenly I can't access sites like youtube because I get an SSL error.
